Day 1 - Sunday - Arrival 

Those flying into Asheville Regional can be picked up by host vehicle. 

Those driving in will go to the Double tree biltmore asheville, nc.

Day 2 - Monday - Thunder Road

Route: Thunder Road
Type: Lollipop
Begin: 115 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC 28803 kickstands up 10 am ~ after all gear is sorted out.  Luggage will be dropped off in the evening with Kmak's trailer.
End: Maggie Valley, NC
Travel Time: Approximately 5 to 6 hours (including rest stops and lunch)
Distance: 140 miles
Highlights: Scenic views, curvy roads, elevation changes

A nice warm-up road to get you acquainted with the roads without overloading you!


Day 3 - Tuesday - All the curves

Route: Cherohala Skyway Loop
Type: Loop
Begin: Maggie Valley, NC
End: Robbinsville, NC ~ New hotel 2 Wheels Inn.
Travel Time: Approximately 6 hours (including rest stops and lunch)
Distance: 165 miles
Highlights: Twisties, views, sweepers, Fontana Dam, Tail of the Dragon, Bald River Falls, Cherohala Skyway

This will be a BIG day! The Cherohala Skyway gets its name from combining the names of the two national forests it passes through, the Cherokee National Forest and the Nantahala National Forest.  We pass through the "Dragon"!  We can bypass that part depending on local traffic.  Afternoons get ... busy... on the Dragon.   Our lunch stop in Tellico Plains will include be at the Tellicafe! 


Day 4 - Wednesday 

Route: Southern NC Roads of Distinction 
Type:  East bound
Begin: Robbinsville, NC
End: Maggie Valley TBD hotel
Time: Approximately 6 hours (including rest stops and lunch).

Our destination for the night will be in Maggie Valley again.  Our dinner venue will be HayWood Smokehouse
Distance: 150 Miles approx 6 hours with stops
Highlights: Switchbacks, views, great destination

Day 5 - Thursday - 

Route: Hot Springs Run / Rattler
Type: Out and Back
Begin: Maggie Valley, NC
End: Maggie Valley, NC
Time: Approximately 6 hours (including rest stops and lunch). Non-stop riding is 1.5 hours in each direction depending on travel conditions.
Distance: 130 miles RT
Highlights: Switchbacks, views, great destination.  The locals call this one the "Rattler"

Day 6 - Friday - Return to Biltmore

Route: Maggie Valley to Ashville
Type: East Bound
Begin: Maggie Valley, NC
End: Asheville
Time: Approximately 3hours (including rest stops and lunch). Non-stop riding is 2 hours on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  If you've never been down it, it, it has zero stop signs. 
Distance: 80 miles one day Easy Day
Highlights: Switchbacks, views, great destination. We will end up in Asheville, spending the afternoon touring the Biltmore Estate with hopefully a special rooftop tour. (Weather permitting)

Our last night together will be spent at a nice dinner spot that is supported by the farms within the Biltmore Estate.

Overnight at the Doubletree just outside the Biltmore - Maybe in Biltmore if there are group deals to be had!

Day 7 - Depart for home - Saturday!

Rides to the airport or back to Maggie Valley to pick up your tow vehicles.
